Verak's past...

Verak is an Earthen Dragon who's past is mostly kept secret by the great beast itself. What is known, is that he is a Red dragon who is general kept within a gem known as the "Venos Gem." Where this gem's origins are remain shrouded in mystery. Ryu acquired the gem at some point in his past, and has spent many years trying to become acquainted with the majestic beast. Through a lot of arguing, misunderstanding, and pride the two have become very close friends, though neither would openly express this. Ryu often looks to Verak for council on very troubling topics, and even though Verak spends most of the time just listening, the few words he does speak are usually fit with wisdom. He spends his free time (when not in the gem) soaring through the skies in solitude. He frequents the Dragon's Den, but hasn't called it home.
