Clan Guide

At level 73 a character is allowed to create a clan or guild in Solaris RPG. Basically, a clan (sometimes called a guild) is a group of warriors that all have a similar goal in the world of Solaris. They stick together through thick and thin and strive to accomplish their goals as a team. We’ve written up a couple lists to help you on your way to becoming the leader of a clan, joining a clan, and the benefits of being in a clan.

Things to remember...

  • To start a clan, a character must be level 73. He must also have at least two other characters that wish to join him.

  • The clan or guild must have a name. Nothing too complicated or long, nothing too short or silly. Please be serious when thinking of a name, as it will only be deemed acceptable if the Solaris RPG staff and administration allow it.

  • The clan must have a decent description that describes what it is they do, why they work together, etc. Just describe the group with some detail.

  • There is no limit to how many characters can be in a clan as long as they keep at least two active members. (This means you need THREE members to start a clan, but only TWO members to keep it going.)

  • Regarding clan leaders or other odds and ends. All other bits and pieces, such as clan "laws" are to be determined by the members of the clan. Clans don’t need to have their own set of rules, but they can if they want. Clans don’t actually need to have a leader either, but they can if they want.

  • Joining a clan may be easy or difficult. Some clans may be accepting members at any time, while others may have requirements for their new members. This is all up to the clan leader to decide.

Clan perks...

  • Protection - Perhaps you’ve gotten into a scuffle with another character. If your clan members are around they can back you up if a fight arrises from the situation. Clan members stick together and take care of one another. If you’re not willing to protect your allies then don’t join a clan. Remember, villians of society are less likely to go after a member of a large or well known clan.

  • Hideout - Clans may create their own “hideout” area for the world map. The clan may choose to have this area password protected in the chatroom list as well. To create a hideout the clan leader must turn in an area description. Hideouts can range from castles to caves.

So, that’s all you really need to know. New perks may be added at any time, so keep an eye out for them.
