The Orkavian Giants are colossally sized, man-made, machines that were built many millennia ago by a group of distinguished beings known as the “Circle of Arc”. They are somewhat humanoid in appearance, but several million times the size. The smallest discovered Orkavian Giant was approximately 230 meters tall, while the tallest discovered was 320 meters tall. The giants are built completely of cie alloy, from their outer armor to their inner workings. They weigh several million tons each, but this varies upon their overall size. They are powered by a pure cie internal core which is usually located somewhere in the chest behind thick layers of armor. Some are built differently than others, having multiple limbs, such as four arms or even two heads. Orkavians have no mind of their own, but are controlled by a device known only as a Keystone. It is believed that the Keystones are normally blank until bound to the soul of a single being. In turn that being loses their physical body, but permanently gains the Orkavian’s body.

It is believed that a group of Elders known only as the “Circle of Arc” created the Orkavian Giants many millennia ago in a secret laboratory hidden on an island in the western oceans of planet Solaris. It is believed by many that they were massive mechanical guardians that were supposed to have been used to defend planet Solaris from an otherworldly invasion that never occurred. After they were no longer needed, yet still incredibly devastating if used for the wrong reasons, it is believed the Elders decided to hide them in various locations across the planet. Most of them have been discovered hidden in the mountains of the Orkavian Highlands, hence the name, but giants have also been discovered hidden in many other locations across the planet.

Orkavian Giants do not reproduce. They were built by scientist many millennia ago and hidden in various locations across planet Solaris. It is believed the plans to build them are hidden somewhere in an island temple in the western oceans of Solaris.

Not only are the Orkavian’s found hidden deep within the mountains of the “Orkavian Highlands” but they are also located in other regions. The highlands got their name because that is where the first two were found many years ago by explorers. This isn’t the only location where giants have been unearthed however. They have been discovered under the oceans, hidden under the sands of the deserts, in the mountains, and one was even found stashed away under layers of molten rock deep within a cavern. Depending on their location, the giants usually have certain properties associated with being locked away in a certain place. For instance, the giant located in the magma of the caverns has astounding potential to control fire and heat, while one of the giants located in the outer ocean has the ability to control the water element.

The giants were built specifically for planetary defense against an unknown threat. They are heavily armored, and loaded to the core with weapons. Some have large canons built into their arms, blades, or blunt weapons. Others have the ability to control massive amounts of energy and launch it towards specific targets. These machines were never meant to face a single opponent, but perhaps an entire invasion of some sort that never happened.

The giants were never meant to be used a single warriors “pet” as it would seem quite impossible. However, it is known that once, before the Second Flux, the Watcher Oobu Killener somehow managed to take control of a single Orkavian Giant using a Keystone imbued with the essence of Urobolus, an elderly scientist from Solaris City. Oobu planned to use the Orkavian to destroy Solaris City, but his plans were foiled when Krauser Killener teleported the entire giant to an alternate dimension using a stone called the “Chaos Gem”.

The Orkavians have no known physical weaknesses or flaws. Once a Keystone is inserted into a location that varies throughout the different builds of the giants it is sealed away permanently deep inside the machine. However, it is possible to remove them from a situation by the use of a powerful teleportation device. This does not harm them, but in certain cases, locks them away.
