Creature Information
Vorkans are basically a large brain with several tentacles underneath them. The tentacles are typically as much as twenty feet long, and as many as fifteen in number. Two tentacles grow longer than the others, as long as 35 to 40 feet long. Vorkans can survive only in the "Void" areas of the Solaria Galaxy, they have also been known to make appearances around the Nichodemus crash area and the Manark area.
Vorkans can eat, but it is not required for survival. They have two sets of glands in the main tentacles that allow them to absorb weak energy attacks. The brain is barely visible underneath a thick, translucent, moist, rubbery skin. The skin is clear and covers the Vorkan from the tip of it's tentacles to the top of it's brain. The creatures have no eyes, but see through telepathic bursts of energy, there are also two small holes midway through the brain area, this is what they can hear with. They have no nostrils, but all of the smaller tentacles can smell, much like a snakes tongue.
