A far second to stone as the most prevalent of the elemental forces in nature, sylphid is most commonly misinterpreted as either “air” or “wind”. In fact, the sylphid element is more accurately described as “motion through air”. Whether it is the wind pushed around by the atmospheric pressures or sound waves emanating from a source of a noise, the air is the medium by which slyphid must survive, much like its namesake. Records indicate a vast range of uses for the sylphid element, both offensively and defensively, mainly as a way to manipulate movement and position on the battlefield.
Base Wisdom of 50:
Wind Fist - The sylphid user can hold up his hand and create a quick, violent burst of wind that flows out from his palm up to about 50 feet. This burst of sylphid force can bend or break trees, topple buildings, and send enemies flying through the air. Being hit by this is the equivalent of being struck by a massive club wielded by a giant with a STR PVS which is double that of the caster’s WIS PVS. (Action Ability)
Base Wisdom of 100:
Sonic Wave - The sylphid user forcefully plants one of his fists into his other hand’s awaiting palm and conjures up a burst of force that travels from the user out in all directions with blinding speed. A barely visible bubble of sylphid force is all that is seen for 50 feet as it passes over objects and people. Unlike the repulsive effects of Wind Fist, Sonic Wave merely stuns all within and can even knock them prone. Affected cannot move on their turn, nor can they make any attack. This perk is often times used to neutralize multiple enemies in order to being an escape or to set up the attack of an ally. (Action Ability)
